Keith ‘Cory’ Steven McBratney passed away on June 6, 2016 at 38 years of age. He is survived by his loving parents, Keith and Doreen McBratney. He left behind his oldest son Tyson and his youngest children, Kaitlynn and Slyer, his brother Troy, sister Krista (John) and brother Kyle (Gabrielle) as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Cory also made many friends over the years. A special mention of Heather (mother of KWM & SWM) and Leah (mother of TM)
Cory was born and raised in Kamloops, he went to A.E. Perry and Kay Bingham and Graduated from Brock Secondary. He enjoyed snowboarding, soccer and rugby. He was employed as a landscaper while in high school then moved to Edson, Alberta to work at a sawmill, and later on moved back to Kamloops and went into carpentry and Scaffolding.
On Saturday June 11, 2016 at 2:00pm – 4:00pm a casual “Celebration of Life” will take place at the Cottonwood Community Centre at 730 Cottonwood Avenue.
Cory made use of the generous contributions that the New Life Community (formally Mission) made to the underprivileged resident of Kamloops. If family and friends should desire to make memorial donations they can be made in person at 181 West Victoria or online at newlifekamloops.ca
