April 30, 1952 – March 13, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of Doug May announces his passing on March 13th 2019 at the age of 66. Doug will be remembered lovingly by his wife, Judy, his children Elana (Christian), Davin (Candice), Callum and Mandy (Todd). Doug will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Sam, Autumn, Asher, Sadie, Colby, Jaimi (Seven) and Connor and by his sister Marilyn as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Doug was a talented and passionate artist with a curious mind and he was a true philosopher at heart. His love of nature, animals, birds and even insects set him apart as the gentle man that he genuinely was. You could often find him tinkering in his workshop, listening to his tunes or going for a walk along the river. Doug had a bright and spontaneous sense of humour and he enjoyed a good belly laugh. A celebration of Doug’s life will take place at the Senior’s Center in Barriere on March 23rd at 2:30.
