November 22, 1941 – December 7, 2020
Our beloved mom, at the age of 79 years, has gone home to the loving arms of Jesus and her family waiting there.
Maryann Jean Endert (nee Williamson) was born on Nov. 22, 1941 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. As a small child her family travelled by train to BC where they settled on a farm in Pitt Meadows. She married Frank Polz and had twin girls, Kathy and Suzy in 1961. He passed away shortly after they were born.
On July 24, 1965 mom married James Henry Leon Endert of Maple Ridge and had 2 more girls, Judy and Jackie. Mom created a warm, loving home and is remembered for happy yummy times around the table. Hospitality was often extended to all our family and friends.
Mom and Dad retired at Loon Lake, BC, and spend many happy years there. We have fond memories joining them there on vacation. Mom moved back home to Pitt Meadows when dad passed away in 2010. Mom is known for her big hugs, and warm generous heart. She was our rock.
Mom loved gardening, a good book, a good game of scrabble, a puzzle and a good strong cup of tea. She loved meeting with all her Red Hat ladies, and she loved her little church, the Pitt Meadows Anglican Church and all her friends there. She will be dearly missed by all her family: Kathy, Alf, and family; Samantha, James, Alisha & Matt and great grandchildren, twins, Riley and Raegan. Suzy, James, and family; Matt, Tori, and Sara. Judy, Ken, and family; Caleb and Madisson. Jackie, Ken, and family; Jamie and Shawn. Thank you to all her family and friends that have enriched her life over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation.
