August 16, 1932 — September 3, 2023
Margaret (Muggs) Blair passed away peacefully at her son’s side on September 3, 2023, at the age of 91. Muggs was born to Annie and Clarence Wood on August 16, 1932, in Cheminis, Ontario. She was the third eldest of 7 children (Edgar, Bea, Verna, Ernest, Molly, and Dennis).
Muggs was predeceased by her loving Husband Robert (Bob) Blair of 52 Years and her eldest son Robbie (Janet). She is survived by her caring son Donnie (Vicki), Grandchildren Mike (Jessica), Desiree (Mitch), Lonni (Desi), Chad (Taylor), Chase, and her 8 Great-Grandchildren as well as 3 Step- Grandchildren (Sheri, Marie, Becky) and many nephews and nieces that were very dear to her heart.
In Muggs’ early years she found her passion as a nurse, graduating in her early 20’s; however, not spending a lot of time as a nurse, Muggs became an impressive entrepreneur with her husband Bob. They established a strong foundation with a variety of businesses in the lower mainland and Kamloops area including Blair Construction. They settled in Kamloops where they raised their two sons Robbie and Donnie. Her busy lifestyle did not slow her down from traveling the world by all modes of transportation. She created countless of memories for her family as they spent summers at Shuswap Lake with her Children and Grandchildren. In Her most recent years, she adored and spoiled her great-grandchildren and cherished spending time at Konni Lake with her son Donnie. If she wasn’t on an adventure, you could find her watching golf or her beloved Blue Jays.
Muggs will be remembered for her sense of humor, strength, generosity, support, and unconditional love.
We would like to thank the staff at Marjorie Willoughby Hospice for the outstanding care they provided. In lieu of Flowers a donation to the hospice in Muggs honor would be appreciated.
You may offer a message of condolence at Schoening Funeral Service for the Blair family.
