Anna & Harry John (Jack) Major of Kamloops passed away within weeks of each other, Anna on February 6, 2017, at 95 years of age, and John on March 2, 2017, at 93 years of age.

They are survived by their daughter Karen (Tom) Hetherington of Surrey, granddaughter Krystina Hetherington, great grandson Julian Hetherington, John’s brother Peter Major, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. They are predeceased by Ann’s brother, Olaf, and her sister, Mary.

A Memorial Service will take place at 12:00 noon on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 52, 425 Lansdowne St, Kamloops, with Mary Widmer officiating.

The family wishes to thank the Royal Inland Hospital, and the Overlander Residential Care nurses, and staff, for all their care.
