October 7, 1975 – April 23, 2016

Abra Lael Lorensen passed into the presence of Jesus on April 23, 2016 in Kamloops, BC. She slipped away peacefully after a long, courageous battle against cancer. Abra’s graceful and joyful spirit will be remembered by all. Her generosity, selflessness and consideration of others will continue to inspire those who knew her. 

Abra was born in Pink Mountain, BC on October 7, 1975. She is survived by her loving parents, Derril and Lynne Lorensen, sister, Hannah (Jason) Perris and brothers, Dameon (Robyn) Lorensen and Caleb Lorensen. A light in Abra’s life was her nieces and nephews: Leah (Rob), Elijah, Ebany, Seth, Shaelyn, Elysse, and Joel, as well as great nephews Gregory and Ganicus.

A Celebration of Life for Abra will be held at Kamloops Alliance Church on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 2pm. If you have a special memory of Abra, please write it down and bring it to the celebration service. There will be a memory basket to place it in at the church foyer. If you have a special remembrance photo of Abra, please forward it to lorensen@telus.net.
