November 29, 1925 – November 29, 2016

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Agnes Lock on her 91st birthday, November 29, 2016 at Royal Inland Hospital with family at her side.
She will be lovingly remembered as a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and a great friend.
She will be deeply missed by her children Eileen (John) Perez of Richmond, BC, Dennis (Kathie) Lock of Kamloops. Her grandchildren Debbie (Bill) Merrell of Richmond, BC, Sylvia (Dave) Orton of Langley, BC, Justin (Stacey) of Boise Idaho, Kathie Lynn Lock, Kamloops, BC, Beth (Dan) Thompson of Kamloops, and numerous great-grandchildren and extended family, nieces nephews sisters in-law and her only remaining Sister Julie (Emil) Stajduhar of Victoria, BC.
Predeceased by her loving husband Joe in 2008, her younger sisters Mary, Margaret, Liz and Lillian and her brothers Julius and Johnny.
Born in Lestock, Saskatchewan Nov 29, 1925 she attended a one room school with one other student in her grade, totalling 20 students. In 1943 the family moved to Osoyoos where her dad had a fruit farm and that is where she met her husband Joe Lock. Mom and dad had a ten acre orchard there. In 1967 they moved to Kamloops. Upon retiring they loved to travel, cruises, tours across Canada, the US, New Zealand, Europe, and Alaska.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Royal Inland Hospital as well as the staff at Ridgeview Lodge for their care and kindness of our mom.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
