October 24, 1938 — July 8, 2023

Wayne passed away at Kamloops Hospice association on Saturday, July 8th, 2023, at the age of 84 years. Wayne was born in Revelstoke, BC on October 24, 1938.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents John Lloyd and Vera Bennison. He is survived by his former wife Darcy and son Brad who lives and works in Delia, Alberta. He is lovingly remembered by his brother, Barry of Revelstoke, BC, and sister Charlene (Bob) of Calgary, Alberta as well as many nieces and nephews. Wayne was a very accomplished accordion player. He taught lessons in Revelstoke for some time. After graduation, Wayne went to work for CPR, but then switched to CNR where he worked until he retired at the age of 51. He then started his own business, putting out fires on the railroad following the grinder and finally retired a second time for good.

Wayne was very musical and loved to dance. He even taught dance lessons in Edmonton at Arthur Murray studios.

Wayne always had a joke to tell and told them very well.
