Linda Jean Moore

Linda passed away peacefully at Kelowna Hospice House on August 31, 2025, following a stroke. She leaves to mourn and will be dearly missed by her brother, Michael (Laurie) Bertrand; sister, Suzanne Boyer; stepchildren, James (Corinna) Moore and Tracy (Bill) McIntyre; grandchildren, Nico Hanna, Emma Rodgers, Mirin Moore and Emmett Moore. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Marie and Laurie Bertrand; husband(s) George Moore and Ingo Kroeke; sister, Wendy Haines and her son, Jeffrey Rodgers.
Linda was born in Kamloops on November 3, 1946. She grew up and attended elementary and high school in Kamloops. She had a varied working career and officially retired from the finance department at Okanagan College.
Special thanks to all the staff at Kelowna Hospice House for their care of Linda during her short stay. A time of remembrance for Linda (née Bertrand) will be held at Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1910 Windsor Rd., Kelowna, on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Cops for Kids Charitable Foundation at: https://copsforkids.org/. Cops for Kids is a charitable foundation that is committed to assisting children that have suffered medical, physical or traumatic crisis. They provide support to children in the southeast portion of British Columbia that require travel to the lower mainland. One of Linda’s grandchildren was the recipient of support from Cops for Kids.
