1932 – 2017
We sadly announce the passing of our beloved Wanda Lehn on January 26, 2017. She will missed and lovingly remembered by her sister Anni, brother in-law John, nephews Rudy and Horst, niece Paula and their Family’s, Relatives & Friends who extend throughout Canada, Germany & Argentina. Wanda was pre-deceased by her Father, Mother, Brother and 3 Sisters. Wanda was born in Einlage, Ukraine on September 29, 1932. From there the Family traveled to Germany during WW II. As a young girl she and her family moved to Argentina, then in 1968 Wanda immigrated to Vancouver Canada where she worked in a bakery and then at Safeway Empress Foods until her retirement in 1994 and then moved to Kamloops to be closer to her family and enjoy her retirement. After spending the last 5 years in the care of the Hamlets Residential Home where she passed away after a brief battle with cancer. Wanda will always be remembered as a very loving, kind & generous person who always put family and friends first. We wish to thank Dr D. Hamilton and the Staff of the Hamlets for the exceptional care they provided. The Funeral will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Dr., Kamloops.
