January 30, 1932 – October 3, 2016
It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved husband Peter on October 3, 2016.
Peter was born in Prairie Echo, Alberta on January 30th, 1932. He came to Kamloops in the early fifties and started working for BC Hydro where he continued to work until his retirement in 1988.
Peter and I met and were married in 1956. We were blessed with 60 years of happy times raising our two precious daughters, Betty Jean and Donna Diane and later on our four grandkids Mitch, Stephanie, Heather and Duncan.
Peter was a proud Power Pioneer and did lots of volunteer work. His hobbies were photography, woodworking, gardening and visiting with our terrific neighbors.
Peter enjoyed golf, square dancing, camping and traveling the world. He will be remembered as a kind, quiet man.
A celebration of his life will be held in the Spring of 2017.
Condolences may be left for Peter’s family at www.firstmemorialkamloops.com.
