June 30, 1935 – August 16, 2016

It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Shirley Kirby on August 16, 2016. Lovingly remembered by her adoring husband of 63 years George Kirby and daughters Sandra Skjeie (Rick) and Connie Hansen (Edgar). Grandchildren Shanah Skjeie; Tyler Hansen (Ai); Cody Skjeie; Jolene Hansen (Robert). Great Grandchildren Kale, Dylann, Mya, Liam and Ethan. Brother William Burr (Rhonda).Predeceased by her parents Theodore and Jean Burr. Her greatest joy was her family of which she was so very proud. Her family will forever miss her love and unwavering support, but her strength will live on . Her favourite days were spent sitting on her deck and fishing on the Little Shuswap Lake. She was talented artist. Her life will be celebrated privately with her family.
