Stanley Riddell Jones VE7SJK of Kamloops, BC, passed away on May 7, 2018 in his 98th year. He was born May 14, 1920 in Edmonton, Alberta. He was in the Merchant Navy during WW11. He was an avid HAM radio operator and was a former member of the Kamloops Outdoor Club. Predeceased by his wife, Marie, his step-son Ray (Betty) Harris and his brothers, Don and Clifford. He is survived by his nieces Diane (Douglas) Ross of Logan Lake and Iris Schindel of Surrey, grandnephew Damion and grandniece Kate (Glen), great-niece Ashley and great-nephew Keiran (Resa) and great-great-niece Emersyn, and his grandchildren Bill (Tracey), Tom, Ken (Wendy), Dan (Janice) Harris and Linda (Wayne) Ewashina, and numerous great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Chartwell Kamloops on Tranquille Road for taking care of him for the last 10 years, Ponderosa Lodge for the excellent care they gave him while he was there and all the nurses and doctors who took care of him in Royal Inland Hospital. No funeral by request. Cremation.
