It gives us enormous heartache to announce the sudden passing of Terri, Mom, Gramma, Aunt on Saturday November, 21st in Kamloops BC at the age of 83.
She’ll be painfully missed by her loving husband and soul mate Bob, son Damian, daughters Cindy, Danielle (Gregg), Kim and grandchildren Dustin, Brandee, Dallas, Tyler, Jacob, Lewis (Amy), Kazden, Kianna and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her last two siblings, brother Henry (Grace) of Merritt BC and sister Bea of North Battleford Sask.
Mom was born in North Battleford Sask April 1, 1932 and was the youngest of 15. She met Dad in Calgary AB and they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary next month, Dec 27th. In 1965 mom and dad decided not to raise their little family in the big metropolis of Calgary and headed west to a little town mom loved, Kamloops.
Mom loved to play cards, scrabble, sew, knit, crochet, cook and best of all entertain. She was an extremely strong woman who grew up with next to nothing and always generously shared what she had. She was happiest when surrounded by family and friends, everyone with food and drink in hand sharing in the latest jokes, and repeating some of the oldies. Mom’s unconditional love, crazy sense of humour and impeccable style will be forever imprinted on our hearts. We love you! We miss you!
A memorial mass will be celebrated by Father Andrew at the Sacred Heart Cathedral 3rd and Nicola Street Kamloops, Saturday November 28th at 11:00.
A big thank you to Dr Brownlee, Nurse Mia and all the other nurses in ICU and 7 North. We appreciate everything you did to help mom and to help us through this difficult process.
