The military life included many stations for them: Montreal, Gander, Sioux Lookout and on to Lahr, Germany, until finally settling in Kamloops (Mt. Lolo) in 1980. He had 29 years of service, completing his career in Kamloops in 1985.
James loved to fish the many local lakes, the Little Shuswap Lake was the all-time favorite. He also enjoyed curling and spending time with his teammates.
Family was especially important to James! The family would like to give a million thanks to the wonderful staff at Kamloops Sr. Village for their amazing care of James. Also to Dr. Hamilton for his years of exceptional care.
