Dear Sister of Mine
The journey you have traveled,
On this road called life,
Has never been easy.
You were tormented by voices,
That would not give you peace.
And often you were left wondering “Why me?” “Why me?”
But through all the hardship and through all the pain,
You had a heart that was kind and deep and pure,
And a quirkiness and humour that brought a smile to us all.
From the little songs you sang and the poetry you wrote,
Your love of purses, pens, chocolate and rings.
You were a special lady
That we were privileged to know.
Now the voices are quiet and you are at peace.
You have touched us all deeply
Dear Sister of Mine
Love, your sisters, Corine and Debbie
