It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Elizabeth Gibson of Kamloops, on March 21st, 2016, at 77 years of age. Diane is survived by her loving husband Cec Gibson, children Barry Gibson and Karen Bodner, grandchildren Jodi (Aiden), Jaylene (Chandler), Jaryn (Russ), and Jordan. She will also be lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren Kayah and Rowan.

Diane is predeceased by her mother Ivy Rosa Johnson, and father & stepmother Cliff & Evelyn Johnson

Diane spent her life supporting and teaching others. Through her roles as a teacher, ceramist, coach, and volunteer, she touched countless lives. For those of us blessed with her presence and love in our lives, we knew without a doubt that she would always be there. Her compassion extended though her role within the Church community, Soroptomists club, and to her friends & family. Her zest for life was contagious, and as we face our days without her, we will pull from our time with her and live in her memory.

A Memorial Service for Diane will take place at 2:00pm, on Saturday, April 23rd, 2016, at Christ Community Church on 8th Street, Kamloops, with Chaplain Clint Heigh officiating.

A special thank you to her many doctors, and the staff at Kamloops Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Diane’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, or Kamloops Hospice.
