Allen Gallant, of Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, residing in Logan Lake, suddenly passed on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Regional Inland Hospital, Kamloops, at the age of 61. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Faye (Jensen) Gallant, his son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Shyhrete Gallant, and his mother-in-law Elva Rioux.
Allen and his family moved to the Lower Mainland, BC in 1978 and have enjoyed life on the Coast for nearly 30 years, more recently the community of Logan Lake for the past 4 years. As a proud member of the BC Saw Filers Association, Allen used his talents and passion for craftsmanship to help others. He enjoyed daily walks through the park with Jaina and taking care of his family.
Allen Gallant left this world to join his youngest brother Paul Gallant, father Frank Gallant and mother Mary Gallant and all who awaited him. Allen is also survived by loving sister-in-law Kelly Gallant (William and Wesley); loving sister Sally Varis and her husband David (Morgan and Michael); loving brothers David Gallant and his wife Debi (Frank and Desiree), Leo Gallant and his wife Karen (Kristy, Leah and Stephen) and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Allen’s body will be cremated and returned to the Tobique Valley, Plaster Rock, New Brunswick.
