September 17, 1938 – June 7, 2016
Gloria Frazer, age 77, unexpectedly passed away early in the morning on Tuesday, June 7th, 2016, after complications due to surgery.
Born in Port Alberni, B.C. she lived a beautiful, full life in Kamloops, B.C for 46 years. Married in Nanaimo in 1959, she is survived by her husband Jim Frazer, their three children Gord and his wife Stella, Linda and Christine, as well as their three grandchildren Kyle, Connor and Tia.
Gloria was an active member of her PEO chapter, loved playing golf as well as enjoyed traveling to Palm Springs and Hawaii. Her presence was unmatched by words, her life was shared with great love by all that knew her. She was a true beauty to this world and her impact on our lives and those around her was greater than imagined. Her sense of humour and patience was tested daily by all her children, but she always came through it with a laugh and a smile. She always said she had a great life, but our lives were great because of her.
Thank you mom for laughing at us and with us.
We know you are safe and are being taken care of now and probably looking down on us all, watching over us, and wishing us all well. Have a drink for us with Glenda. Move forward and be free.
We love you dearly and miss you beyond words.
As per request, there will be no service held.
To Those I Love And
Those Who Love Me
When I am gone, release me. Let me go
I have so many things to see and do.
You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears,
Be happy, we had so many years.
I gave you my love and you can only guess
How much you gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown
But now it’s time I traveled alone.
So grieve a while for me if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It’s only for a while that we must part
So bless those memories in your heart.
I won’t be far away for life goes on
So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can’t see or touch me, I’ll be near
with all my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone,
I’ll greet you with a smile and
“Welcome You Home”.
