Frank Swiatkewich was born March 8, 1932, in Sandilands, Manitoba. He moved around Manitoba and Ontario until the 1960s, then moved to B.C. and stayed in Kamloops.
He owned a few different businesses in Kamloops over the years: Bluestar Taxi, P&F Couriers and P&F Logging.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie; his sister, Helen Bigras; grandchildren Olesia Romaniuk, Dorothy (Doug) Christensen, and Robert Romaniuk; and his great-grandchild, Dallas Christensen. He was predeceased by his parents; siblings Peter, John, and Mary; and his children Donna, Robert, and Michael.
We would like to thank Royal Inland Hospital for their care on 6N and Overlander Trinity Hospice for their care as well.
The Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, at the Ukrainian Church of All Saints, 1044 Eighth St., Kamloops. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00a.m. on May 20, in the church. Following the service, Frank will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery.
