IN LOVING MEMORY OF SAMUEL THEODORE FIK
Samuel was born on September 24,1940 in Abbotsford, B.C. He was the 10th of 11 children. He had 2 children of his own- Warren and Terina. He also had 5 grandsons-Brandon, Justin, Colton ,Rueben, Braiden and 4 great grandchildren.
Sam is survived by his brother Andrew and 2 sisters Annette and Teri Lynn. He was married to his beloved wife Joan for 55 years whom he adored.
He was a loving husband and father enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son and grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing the guitar singing country songs with his grandsons and daughter.
He had many fine qualities but he will always be remembered for his great sense of humor.
Sam was a country boy and perhaps that’s why one of his most enjoyable hobbies he had later in life was his chickens.
His love for Jehovah and his word motivated him to share his hope with all he met .It was one of his great joys to teach others the wonderful hope Jehovah holds out for all. He will be forever in our hearts until we one day welcome him back in a peaceful new world. John 5:28,29
We would like to Express our deep appreciation for all the prayers and kind deeds that have been shown to us and our family during these challenging times
