Harry Samuel Ferguson passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 27, 2017 at 70 years of age. Harry is survived by his loving wife Donna, daughters Kathy (Duane) and Susan (Ken), six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, his brother Don (Gertie) and sister Diane (Larry) as well as numerous extended families.
He is predeceased by his mom and dad Mary and Alex, older brother Bob and granddaughter Maureen.
Harry is well known for his love of restoring antique farm tractors and large classic trucks. He spent his life as a heavy duty mechanic and never really did stop working on equipment. He loved sharing his knowledge and teaching it at any opportunity he could. Harry met many people over his years of camping and boating, from adults to children who became lifetime friends. He made two trips to Arizona in his retirement and had love for a good game of horseshoes.
If you were with him out at the lake he would spend all day on the lake pulling every kid in the campground around water skiing from dawn till dusk. And he loved doing it. Harry was known to keep the campfire going and get on the radio telling people to get off the lake as it was getting dark.
The most cherished times were the days he could spend with his grandchildren as they were the light of his life.
There is no formal service by request; the family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff in the ICU at the Royal Inland Hospital and to Dr. Hollman.
In lieu of flowers please sign up and become an organ donor in honor of his memory.
Too well loved to ever be forgotten
