Ewald (Wally) Paul passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020, at 88 years old in Kamloops BC.
He will be fondly remembered as the kind, compassionate and beloved husband of Corrinne Anderson. Ewald will be missed dearly by his two sons, Peter (Betty) and Frank (Karen), as well as his grandchildren, Christopher (Chantel), Alyssa (Lee), Elisha, Cameron, Collin, Graeme, Great grandchildren Kaysen and Kyler and numerous nephews, nieces in Germany. The extended family of Kevin and Glenda Anderson and wonderful friends Wendy and family, Bill and Irene. Predeceased by his sister Helga and grandson Daniel.
Ewald was born April 17, 1932, in Celle, Germany and grew up in Breloh. He immigrated to Canada in 1954 to Regina Saskatchewan, where learned and applied his trade as Pipefitter. Then moving to Kamloops in 1971 for another new adventure, working at a local plumbing company and then to the Plaza Hotel as Maintenance Tech. This job he continued until his retirement.
Ewald always enjoyed watching and participating in sports. From playing soccer as a young lad to involvement in the men’s leagues and becoming a referee in the Western Canada Soccer league. He had terrific passion for golfing and was a skillful bowler. He always enjoyed a walk to sightseeing, explore and look for wildlife.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, due to Covid Restrictions. Our family wishes to extend our sincere gratitude to the Dr. Proctor, the wonderful Nurse Practitioners Nathalie and Jacqueline from the Urgent Care Center and the truly wonderful Ponderosa Lodge staff for their amazing care. We sincerely wish to thank them all.
