May 1, 1942 — October 17, 2020
Eva was born on May 1, 1942 in Athens, Greece and passed away in Kamloops on October 17, 2020.
Eva came to Jasper, Alberta in 1960 and married her husband of 60 years, Sokrites. They had two children, Gina and John then moved to Kamloops, BC where had another daughter Linda.
She worked at Ponderosa Lodge when it first opened up and she worked there for seven years. They then purchased and operated Roma Restaurant, where she learned to swear in English. After they sold the restaurant, Mom really enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren Andreas, Ashley and Jasmine, doing things like camping, then along came her great-grandson Christian. Mom was so proud of all her children, grandchildren and great grandson. She lived her life on her own terms, and she really loved her entire family.
Special thanks to the nurses, care aides, and Dr. Wynne from Gemstone for the great loving care they gave Mom.
Eva is survived by her husband Sokrites Louvros, daughter Gina Rowe, son John Louvros, grandson Andreas Louvros (Heather and her son Bentley), granddaughters Ashley Driver and Jasmine Joan Louvros Bigham, great grandson Christian Louvros, and many family and friends in Kamloops and Greece.
She was predeceased by her mother Asimina, father Stratos, sister Georgina and beloved daughter Linda Louvros.
