1941 – 2018
Bobbie, Roberta Frances Elliott, was born in the family home in Willoughton Lincolnshire Feb 13 1941. She emigrated to Canada in 1947 with her family and they settled in Salmon Arm. She graduated from J L Jackson high school in 1959 and moved to Kamloops. She spent the rest of her adult life in Kamloops until her passing on September 15th 2018.
She was an avid gardener and had won the Best Backyard award which she was very proud of.
She is survived by two sons .David (Kathy) of Kamloops and Mark of Cranbrook. Three grandchildren, Vanessa, Justine and Easton. One great grandson Rowen and her sister Deirdre Watson, of Mexico.
She was fiercely independent and strong willed and lived her life her way until the end. She lost her battle with lung disease after many years of managing at home. Many thanks to the Home Care nurses and Respiratory therapist, and her friend Jo & Clive and neighbor Norma who made it possible for her to stay in her own home for so long.
We will all miss you very much.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Kamloops Hospice Association would be appreciated.
