Dorothy Edith Wiehe, a beloved mother and cherished friend to many, passed away on December 31, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and love throughout her life, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on September 24, 1943, in Gananoque, Ontario Dorothy leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and a deep love for her family that will be carried on by those who loved her. She is going to be greatly missed by a vast and loving family and by everyone who knew her.

Dorothy’s family was the heart and soul of her life. She is survived by her loving sons, Jim (Janice), Rick (Sheila), Erich (Wendy), Rob (Bev), Dennis (Melanie), Peter (Barb), and Keith, and her cherished daughter, Louise (Ben). Dorothy’s legacy extends to her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was also a beloved sister to Ernie (Linda), Cecil, George (Darlene), and Grace (Jim).

The void left by Dorothy’s passing is immeasurable, but we take comfort in the cherished memories and the profound love she bestowed upon us all. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her spirit lives on in the hearts of her children, family, and friends.

A private family service to celebrate the life of Dorothy Edith Wiehe will be held in the spring.
