June 6, 1928 – January 21, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Lagace after a battle with dementia. Doris was 94 years old; she is predeceased by her sons Dennis & Ricky; and sisters and brothers.

She is survived by her son Victor (Connice) Lagace of Kamloops, son Michael (Mike) Lagace of Fort Saskatchewan, AB and daughter Denise Harvey of Vernon. Grandchildren: Daphne Harvey, Cherryville; Richard Lagace, Prince George; Robert (Marie) Lagace, Kamloops; Chrystal Lagace, Kamloops; Tim (Jen) Marlowe of Coquitlam.

Great Grandchildren: Madison, Aiden, Sophia, August, Hailey, Ashton (formally Tina), Dino & Terrance

Doris spent a lot of her adult life in Kamloops after moving here from Vancouver in 1958 with her own family. She always offered a helping hand to anyone who needed it. She loved playing cards, going to dances, camping and spending time with her children and her many friends.

Doris was a loving mother, grandma and friend to us all, she is now free to meet up with her friends and family in the great beyond that have gone before her. She will forever be in our hearts and we will miss her always until we once again meet up with her.

RIP Doris.

Thank you to the nurses, care staff and doctors at Gemstone Care Facility for their kind treatment of Doris over the years. There will be no service but a family gathering will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
