April 6, 1942 — August 22, 2024

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Domingos Xavier Medeiros at the age of 82. Domingos was born in Santo Antonio, Nordeste, Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal. In 1974, he moved to Canada with his late beloved wife Deolinda Medeiros who passed in 2002 and has been dearly missed by the family.

Domingos loved to spend time with his granddaughter Aria, this brought him the most joy and happiness. He enjoyed spending time in his garden, making jokes, watching wrestling and playing cards. Domingos will be sadly missed by his daughter Lisa, granddaughter Aria, brother Manuel Xavier De Medeiros and many nieces and nephews.

“Forever Loved”

Prayers will be recited on Thursday, August 29th, 2024 at 5:00 PM at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 255 Nicola Street, Kamloops. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 30th, 2024 at 10:15 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral, with Father Derrick Cameron Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Mausoleum in Hillside Cemetery. We will then return to Sacred Heart Cathedral for a refreshments. We welcome all to join.
