It is with great sadness that we, the family of Kay Davies, announce her peaceful passing at her home in Pinegrove Care Center Kamloops BC at the age of 95.
She was born in Campbell River, the eldest of 3. Kay was predeceased by her husband Roger, brothers Norman & Lloyd Finnie, and her Grandson Lyle Davies.
Kay & Roger lived and worked in the warm and sunny states, retiring in Nevada and Arizona before returning home to BC in 1992.
She enjoyed socializing and keeping busy! Kay loved a good rodeo, casino, or anywhere the music was playing. Kay, a 2 time cancer survivor, proudly volunteered in different capacities for the BC Cancer Society. More recently Kay enjoyed her volunteer responsibilities at Pinegrove Lodge. Kay was a very kind, loving and generous soul. She had a great sense of humor, sharp wit and the biggest heart for all living things.
Kay will be sadly missed by her son Gary Davies (Sandra) of Langley & granddaughter Vicky Tarcon (Crystal) of Boston Bar. Kay will be
fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins, by many friends in both B.C. and Arizona and her very special friends Wendy and Nada.
Special thanks to Dr. Mavis Hollman & all the management & staff at Pinegrove for the exceptional friendship and care Kay received.
No formal service by request. Donations to the BC SPCA in Kay’s memory would be most appreciated.
