November 2, 1921 – March 30, 2017

Iride was born in Muris, Ragogna, Province of Udine, Italy to Umberto DeMonte and Anna Pascoli. She had three brothers and two sisters. One brother and one sister are still surviving and living in Italy.

Iride was predeceased by her loving husband Valentino in June of 2005. Mom’s greatest pride and joy was her family. 

Left to mourn her passing is her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son Adrian Damini and his wife Jan and her daughter Catherina (Rina) Wells; grandson Aaron Damini and his wife Tami and their children Danika and Brayden Damini and Maddy Mehain; grandson Darryl Damini and his wife Melissa and their sons Seth and Samuel Damini; grandson Tyler Wells and grandson Brett Wells and his wife Alex and their daughter Lucy Bomphray Wells.

Mom’s last weeks were spent in hospice at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home. She was known as Iris Damini there. We cannot say enough about the love, care and compassion that Mom and the whole family received. Thanks to each and every one of you.

Prayers will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
