February 4, 1937 – January 24, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Dale Leroy Hubbs on January 24, 2025, at Ponderosa Lodge, Kamloops, B.C.
Dale was born February 4,1937, in Saskatoon, SK, to Kenneth Leroy Hubbs and Isabel Marguerite (Gilchrist) predeceased by brother Ross Wayne Hubbs in 2015. Dale is survived by his wife of 40 years Wilma Pagan; son Ken (Wendy); daughters Linda (Reg), Leigh (Dale), Donna (Ken); grandchildren (Brent, Blake, Derek, Teresa, Lindsay, Cassidy) and great-grandchildren (Dylan, Oliver, Sophia).
Dale worked for many years in the wholesale food industry. Retirement is when he became a marriage commissioner, performing over 700 ceremonies. In his younger years he loved to curl and golf, but his true love was the piano, playing many times at senior and care homes as well as at the Summit Drive Church where he was an active member.
Dale was interred at Hillside Cemetery in Kamloops, B.C., surrounded by his wife and children on February 5, 2025. We wish to thank the wonderful staff at Ponderosa Lodge for the kindness and care given to Dale.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Summit Drive Church – located at 1975 Summit Dr. in Kamloops – followed by a reception with light refreshments.
The family requests that donations in Dale’s name be given to your charity of choice or the Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) Foundation in Kamloops.
