Cydney, you were a wild ride that brought me so much joy and a little fear at the same time. You always kept me on my toes; never could I anticipate your next move.
There are so many reasons why I love you so hard.
I love that you never backed down when you believed in something and that you never gave-up, even if the odds were against you. Once your mind was set on something, there was no changing it.
I love that you always took the time to tell random strangers that you liked something that they were wearing or that their hair was pretty.
I love that you never failed to say “I love you”, even when you were mad at me.
I love that when you laughed, you sometimes snorted a little.
I love that your personality was so big, it could hardly be contained in your small body.
I love that the way to your heart was a yummy, home cooked meal.
I love that you taught me so many life lessons, most importantly, how to be a mom.
When you were born you became my first experience of tangible love.
You have taught me so much about empathy, patience, and the true meaning of tough love. You have been a powerful teacher in my life. I feel so blessed you chose me to be your mom.
