It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Louise Charpentier 64 at Kamloops Hospice House on November 29, 2016. Her first battle with cancer was in 1994, and she was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in May of this year. She fought a courageous battle and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
She will be profoundly missed and remembered fondly by her husband Andy, her children Amanda (Dean), Tina (Leo), and Calvin (Melissa), and her grandchildren Ava, Ryland, Maelle and Marshall. She will also be missed by her sister Elizabeth (Rolly) and many close friends and family.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Betty Mackenzie, grandsons Bowen and Hayden Robinson, her nephew Kevin Bird as well as many other friends and family members.
She was born in Calgary, Alberta on March 8, 1952. She married Andy on July 3, 1976 in Yellowknife. They made two more moves to Prince George then Kamloops where they started their family in 1981. In 1986 they made their final move to Logan Lake. Louise spent many year volunteering with various organizations for her children and was a dedicated volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society.
A Celebration of life will be held at Hal Rogers at 2025 Summit Drive on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 1:30pm.
