Charmaine Elise (Letnes) Douglas of Kamloops entered Valhalla on March 13, 2016 at 62 years of age. After two-and-a half years of battling breast cancer she finally defeated her illness. She is survived by her loving and adoring husband Raymond as well as their children: Roxanne, Alexis, Sandra, Angel, Tyler, Yvonne, Heidi, Desirae, Kristine and Sebastian. Grandchildren: Lydia, Alexander, Gillian, Basia, Milah, Paige, Joshua, Alexandria, and Jesse. Mother Dona Aloise Letnes, Mother-in-law: Sophia Douglas, Siblings: Diane, Mark, David, Georgette, Camille, Kerry Lynne and Barbara. Godchildren: Darius, April and Virginia as well as many aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She now joins her many ancestors including her grandparents Lydia & George Deitzer, Leota & Lawrence Letnes, her father William Letnes, father-in-law Edward Douglas, cousins Guy, Bev, and her son Devin on her Viking ship. Shipboard tasks will be assigned accordingly.
A memorial service was held at 1:30 pm on Saturday March 19, 2016 at Secwepemc Family Services in Kamloops, BC.
