With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Chad Aaron Cadrin on December 8, 2024. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness and warmth left a mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born on June 8, 1980, in Haney, B.C., Chad was the cherished son of Twila and Daniel Cadrin. At the age of six, he moved to Kamloops with his mother and brother, Kristopher. Chad had a deep love for sports, excelling in baseball, rugby, and football. His talent led him to be chosen as a rookie for the Kelowna Sun football team.
After graduating, Chad moved to the Vancouver area to be closer to his father. He was a gentle and loving soul, known for his kind heart and the ability to bring joy to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Chad is lovingly remembered by his father, Daniel Cadrin; mother, Twila Cadrin; brother, Kristopher Cadrin (partner Bobbi Brintnell); half-brother, Jordan Cadrin; and his beloved niece Avaya Cadrin and cousin Lance Mayes. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, including Deryl Mayes and Donna Kirkland, Charlotte Burt, Kelly Burt and her daughter Clara Burt, Shannon Mayes, Kelvin Mayes, Doug and Katherine Cadrin , Lois Hall, Lawrence and Gay Cadrin, Elaine Sturgeon, and Jackie and Kevin Tait.
He was predeceased by his grandmother Florence Mayes and his grandparents Don and Emily Cadrin, as well as his uncle Ugene Cadrin and his cousin Beau Mayes.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Schoening Funeral Service (513 Seymour St., Kamloops), officiated by Reverend Dr. Michael Caveney.
Chad’s kind spirit and loving presence will forever be carried in the hearts of those who knew him.
