April 29 1940 – June 10, 2016
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cecilia, on June 10, 2016 in Chase, BC at the age of 76 years.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Maurice, her daughters: Maureen (Hans) and Louise (Mike) of Mackenzie, Naomi (Todd) of Prince George; her son: David (Brenda) of Prince George; her sisters: Theresa, Francis and Marie and numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Cecilia was predeceased by her mother Florence Balcaen, father Francis Ramer and stepfather Carl Rose.
Cecilia was an energetic woman with a zest for life. She was an active member of the Catholic Women’s League and the Chase Country Quilter’s Group. The last 10 years she enjoyed the work of making blankets and clothing and sending these supplies to children in South Africa. Cecilia loved playing cards and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Prayers will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday June 17 in the Catholic Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 1185 Shuswap Ave, Chase, BC. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the church at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, with the Reverend Monsignor Jerry F Desmond Celebrant. Interment at the Chase Cemetery, followed by refreshments in the Church Hall. 
Friends and family are kindly asked to wear bright colours, as this will be a Celebration of Cecilia’s Life. 
Donations to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in memory of Cecilia would be greatly appreciated.
