Brunn, Douglas James

January 26, 1927 – April 4, 2017. Douglas James Brunn passed away peacefully at the age of 90 in Kamloops. Doug is survived by his children; Mila, Rhys (Judy), Margo (Lou), his grandchildren, Kara (Scott), Rhys, Melissa, Landon and his great grandchildren Zackery and Rowyn. He is also survived by his two sisters Jean & Maria. Doug was predeceased by his parents Philip and Lydia, brother Roy and sister Joan. Doug grew up in the Morden, MB. His family started the first Ford Dealership in Morden in 1930, Brunn Motors were Doug worked until the late 1960s. After the closing of the garage, Doug and his family would move west to Kelowna, B.C. Doug was employed as sales manager at Arena Motors on Harvey Ave. A few years later he would move to Kelowna Motors where he sold many Datsuns. In the 1980s, he would move to Calgary and work at various dealerships there. Doug retired in Kamloops. Doug enjoyed spending time with this family, keeping up with current events, coffee at A & W, watching hockey and CFL football on TV, reading books and newspapers. Doug would spend the past several years at Brocklehurst Gemstone Care Centre. He kept the nurses and care aids on their toes. He truly loved his stay there.
