November 20, 1986 – January 25, 2024

Born in Cranbrook, B.C., Brandyn “Damien” Sbitney passed away in Kamloops, B.C. on January 25, 2024, at the young age of 37.

Brandyn was predeceased and loved dearly by his (Father) John Sbitney and his (Grandma) Gayle MacKenzie. He will be forever loved and missed by his (Mother) Carrie MacKenzie, (Sister) Brittni MacKenzie-Dale, (Brother) Brodie MacKenzie-Dale and (Step-Father) Mike Dale, along with his (Grandpa) Larry MacKenzie, (Grandma) Kay Sbitney, (Aunt) Deborah Scott, (Uncle) Rob Sbitney, (Aunt) Audrey Marlatt and their children, as well as many other family members and friends.

Brandyn’s love for animals, family and friends always shone through with a smile that could light up your heart. Even through his own hardships, he was always trying to help those in need. His kindness and generosity was passed on through donation, where he gave four of his organs so others could live. He was a beautiful soul who will be missed immensely.

Eternal thanks and gratitude goes to those who supported Brandyn “Damien” these past years in Kamloops, especially to Robyn who was always there for him. There aren’t any words to express how much that mattered to both him, and his family.

There will be a scattering of ashes in Kamloops sometime in the late spring, date and time TBD.
