On Sunday, December 31, 2017 Mr. Wilfred “Reg” Bishop of Kamloops passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years.
He is survived by his loving son Walter (Christine) of Prince George, daughter Karen (Rick) Alexander of Kamloops, his four grandchildren Julie (Monte) Garber, Barbara (Bernie) Guignard, Justin Alexander and Bradley Alexander, five great grandchildren Larissa, Meagan, Logan, Sheldon, Austin and two sisters Martha Walker of Ontario and Gladys Ethier of Sask. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Reg was born on July 29, 1926 in Turtleford, Sask. He served in WWII. In 1949, he married Margaret in Victoria. He spent the majority of his working life in saw mills. This path took him to the Cariboo where they resided in Lone Butte for some 35 years, before moving to Chase for 16 years and then he moved into Kamloops.
A remembrance tea will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Kamloops Seniors Village in the multi-purpose room.
