It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bernice ’Bonnie’ Margaret Daku.  She passed away peacefully in Kamloops on February 26, 2024.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Steven (Nancy), daughters Colleen (Richard) and Candace, along with her granddaughter Katie (Josh) and great grandson Logan.

She is survived by her sisters Carol (Les), Doreen (Gilbert) and Adele (Raymond) along with numerous nephews and nieces.

She was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 51 years, Frederick Daku and her parents Walter and Martha Dawson.

She was born in Windthorst Saskatchewan and spent her early years on the family farm.  She moved to British Columbia with the love of her life where she devoted herself to supporting her husband and family.

A mass will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 10:30 am at Holy Family Parish.
