Randi was born July 5, 1956 in Gimli, MB. As his father was in the Canadian Air Force, they relocated several times throughout his childhood and eventually settled in Courtenay, BC. Randi’s ability to care and his desire to serve and help those in dire need will not be forgotten. He would put his life on the line to protect others. His path to service first began in the Canadian military. Eventually, he transitioned into fire fighting.
He spent over 30 years in the fire service industry and then branched out into ironworking. The past few years he was a safety officer and worked in BC and AB.
Randi enjoyed many sun filled vacations with great friends and puttering with his 1963 Valiant 200 Signet convertible.
A family celebration of life will be held at a later date as Randi did not want a formal service.
The family wishes to express our sincere thank you and gratitude to Dr. Bruce Newmarch and his staff and to everyone at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home for their compassion and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kamloops Hospice Association or Military Minds Inc. (PTSD Awareness at www.militarymindsinc.com) would be graciously appreciated.
