It is with a saddened and broken heart that I am writing this obituary for my sister Audrey Elizabeth Reichennek, who passed suddenly after a short illness on Monday, February 26. I am so saddened by this loss. My consolation is that she is free of pain and suffering. She has started a new journey, one that I know will bring her much deserved peace.

Audrey loved water skiing as a child right into her adult years. She also loved skating including roller skating. She loved being at our family cabin and soaking up the sun. Audrey was unique in many ways, one that makes me chuckle a bit is her belief in always being practical. You would never see Audrey getting her nails done or spending money on things that she found unnecessary in life. Only the basics for her. I used to call her cheap but really, she was thrifty. In honour of her practical personality, she will have only a basic burial with a small graveside service. Date to be announced to friends and family later. Audrey leaves behind her sister Susie Reid and niece Kathryn Reichennek and nephew Lucas Reichennek. Audrey is predeceased by her brothers Byron Reichennek, Stanley Reichennek, nephew Kurt Reichennek and her parents Katie and Kurt Reichennek.
