Darren Alan Armstrong
July 23, 1971 – June 3, 2019

Darren was taken from us on June 3, 2019 at the age of 47. A loving and devoted husband and father who enjoyed spending his time outdoors – sitting in the backyard or out fishing. He could always be depended on to help out whenever the need arose as his family and friends were very important to him.

Darren is survived by his loving wife Penny and his son Ryker (5). His sister Lesley (Greg) and his brothers Dave (Maggie), Ian (May), and Neil (Caren). Darren also leaves behind his nieces Jacqueline, Selina, Heather, Chelsea, Jaimee and his nephews John, Keith , Stephen, Griffin along with a great number of friends whom he considered family.

Darren was predeceased by his Dad Les (Leslie 2013) and his mom Betty (Elizabeth 2016).

Darren was born on July 23, 1971 in Wakefield, Yorkshire, England and moved to Canada with his family when he was 3. He spent his youth in North Vancouver and he would often talk about the good times he had there while growing up.

He will be missed by his family and all those fortunate to know him.
