July 24, 1939 – November 30, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonio Renzullo on November 29, 2023, in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Antonio was born in Macchiagodena, Italy in 1939 to parents Christina and Cosimo. In 1958, he married his wife Dora, and together they came from Italy over to Kamloops in 1963. Antonio first worked for Kamloops Lumber, and then moved on to work with the City of Kamloops’ horticulture department, where he would continue to work for the next 30 years until his retirement.

Antonio is predeceased by his loving wife Dora, his brothers Cresenzo, Luigi, and Lenardo, and his sister Lucia. He is survived by his sisters-in-law Giovanina, Palma, and Filomena.

He leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and family members who will miss him greatly and his close friend Maxine.

Antonio took great pride tending to his garden in his retirement years and enjoyed sharing a glass or two of home-made wine with his friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Chartwell Retirement Residences for the care they have given Antonio in the years he stayed there. We would also like to acknowledge and thank the nursing staff on the 7th floor of the GT Tower, as well as Dr. Selina Lawrie, for their care of him.

Prayers will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church located on 635 Tranquille Rd., Kamloops.

A Funeral Mass to commemorate Antonio’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 6 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 635 Tranquille Rd., Kamloops. Entombment and Reception will follow.
