December 7, 1938 – November 3, 2025 

On Monday, November 3, 2025, Antonio (Tony) Guido passed away peacefully surrounded by family, after a brief illness. 

Tony is survived by his children Mario (Val) and grandchildren: Kyla, Jessica, Cassie (Cameron) – Sienna and Jade – and Andrew. Roberto (Helen) and grandchildren: Gabriella (Jeremy) Antonio, Dayna (Spencer) – Harper and Blair – Justine (Chris) – Lia and Ivy – Todd – Brayden and Jackson – and Tyler (Elicia) – Olivia and Kayden. Antonietta (Ed) and grandchildren: Daryl (Lindsey) – Liam, Saylor and Deacon – Devon (d. 2017) & Derrick (Taylor) – Zirayah and Savanah. 

Tony was predeceased by his loving wife Iolanda in 2011 as well as his parents and siblings. 

Antonio was born on December 7, 1938, in Grimaldi Italy. He came to Canada to be with Iolanda who had come to Kamloops a year earlier. The two raised their family In Kamloops, B.C. where Tony worked for the City of Kamloops until his retirement. 

Tony was known for his amazing garden, his love of “friendly” competition and his devotion to family. 

Our sadness at missing Tony is eased by the love and memories he leaves behind. We are grateful that Tony has rejoined Iolanda whom he missed dearly. 

Prayers will be recited on Friday, November 14 at 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 15 at 11:15 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and will be followed by entombment at Sage Valley Mausoleum. 

In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice will be gratefully appreciated.
