It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Amos (Sonny) McCastle after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Teresa, his son Michael McCastle, daughter Cindy Culling, grandsons Cavin, Dayton and Toren McCastle, and Cyle and Tory Culling, as well as great-grandchildren Westin and Madilyn Culling, and numerous nieces and nephews. Sonny was predeceased by his parents, Amos and Molly, and his sisters Margaret, Jean and Kathy.

Sonny spent most of his life in Barriere where he lived and worked as a faller and Cat operator. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and crib player. The last two years he lived at The Hamlets, where he received exceptional care and love from his special ladies, Lesley, Amy, Raquel, Natalie, Corinna, Lori and Kaitlyn.

There will be no service by request. Donations in Sonny’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
