January 28, 1936 – December 13, 2023

With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Alfred David Kerr, affectionately known as Dave by friends and family. Dave passed away December 13 at the age of 87 after a short battle with skin cancer. Dave was born in Kamloops in 1936 and grew up on a ranch near Heffley Lake.

Dave was predeceased by his loving wife Joan, parents Margret and Robert, two brothers Jim and Donald, and his sister Joanne.

He is survived by his son Peter and sister Hellen.

Dave requested to be cremated with no service to be held.

His ashes will be scattered at Heffley lake in the spring of 2024.

In lieu of flowers Dave and his son request donations be made to the Canadian cancer society.
