March 3, 1950 – May 4, 2020
Born March/03/1950 in Nussbach Germany Passed May/04/2020 I Kamloops, at the age of 70.
On May 4th Alex went to meet his Lord and saviour, and his beloved wife in heaven. He passed away peacefully in his home from natural causes.
Alex is survived by his loving children, Alex Wormsbecher, Rhonda Lake (Dave) and Shannon Jenkins (Mike), grandchildren Aaron, Robin, Rylin and Aiden. All of whom he cherished, and brought him so much joy. As well, he is survived by brother Kurt Wormsbecher (Marilyn) and nieces and nephews that he loved.
Alex was predeceased by the love of his life and wife Judy, and his brothers Wenner, Cliff, Walter, and his sister Christa.
Alex and Judy met and married when they were very young, 16 and 19. They started a family right away and were married for almost 50 years before Judy’s passing. They were childhood sweethearts and no matter what life threw at them, they always had a deep and unconditional love for each other.
He was a journeyman electrician by trade, and had many stories to tell about the jobs that he worked near, and far. He worked hard to support his family, and enjoyed it immensely.
He loved spending time learning, reading his Bible and talking about God. In his later years he enjoyed working and puttering at “The Garage”. He cherished spending time with family and friends and always had the “tea kettle on” for a visit. He would always have a project going on in the basement. He loved fishing and spending time on the lake.
Our hearts break that he is no longer with us here, but we know that dad is elated to be with mom, and the rest of his family in heaven, and that he is at peace.
Sadly, because of covid19, we will not be able to hold any formal service at this time.
You may express condolences at Schoening Funeral Service.
