We sadly announce the passing of our precious little girl, Ada Teressa Canaday, daughter to Kohl and Jessica Canaday (Wheele) and twin sister to Rylee Ann Canaday.

Ada passed away suddenly on September 26, 2025, at the Kamloops Royal Inland Hospital.

In addition to her parents and sister, Ada will be greatly missed by her grandparents, Terry and Beatrix Wheele, Greig Henderson, Michelle Canaday and Jim Miller, her Great Grandparents Tom and Rita Woertman, her Uncle Alexander Wheele and Aunt Lindsay, her Aunt Leah Wheele and Uncle Kevin, her Uncle Robert Canaday and Aunt Ashleigh, numerous cousins and many Great Aunts & Uncles. Ada is predeceased by her Great Grandparents Allen and Lois Canaday and Ernie and Shirley Wheele.

Ada Teressa was a bubbly little girl who was eager to explore her world. The first to figure out that she could do more and get further on her own two feet, opened up a whole new world for Ada with endless curiosities. And she was eager to share her wonder and excitement of the world with anyone who could keep up with her.

With a smile that captured everyone’s heart, Ada was a true symbol of the deep love that her mom and dad hold for each other and their daughters and will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to be a part of her life.

The Family of Ada would like to invite you to join them as they share and celebrate Ada’s life at the Kamloops Funeral Home on Thursday October 9, 2025, at 1:00pm (285 Fortune Drive).

Ada was a lover of flowers; however, in lieu of flowers, Kohl and Jessica are inviting friends and family to bring a preemie or newborn sized onesie to the Celebration of Ada’s Life, which will be donated to the Royal Inland Hospital Nicu. Or to consider planting a flower in their garden, in memory of Ada.
