May 17, 1947 — May 29, 2025

The family of Barry Manderson is saddened to announce his passing on May 29, 2025 at the age of 78. He is survived by his wife Kathy Bassett, his son Jonathan Manderson, brother Brian Manderson, and loving cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers Blaine and Robert.

We give great thanks for Barry and his indomitable spirit of kindness, strength and ease as he traversed his many life paths – working in Parks irrigation for the City of Kamloops for over 20 years, as well as gardening and farming, orcharding and being the earth steward that he was. He was extremely well liked by many and he will be greatly missed.

Many thanks to Marilyn for her extra loving care during this time. Barry and his brothers and Dad had family fishing trips that were a time of joviality, great food and remembering times of growing up in Westbank, BC, ‘back in the day’ when orchards were plenty and the lake was the best for swimming to cool off those hot summer days.

A life well lived with the Tone of Life Truth and Love as his ever present guide.
